San Francisco is home to an estimated 100,000 dogs. To a dog photographer, this translates into either a TON of fantastic (or missed) photo-ops.
Shooting a wide variety of dogs, doing a million different doggy things, under constantly changing Bay Area lighting conditions makes me a better dog photographer. I'm always exploring new techniques and "roving", on-the-fly photography lets me experiment freely without the risk of compromising a paid shoot. It also introduces me to more dogs than I could ever hope to meet in formal sessions.
And you can never meet enough dogs :)
Get to know some of the dogs I've met by visiting my new photoblog, The Daily Frolic.
